ÉireComposites

ÉireComposites (EIRE) is an advanced composites design, manufacturing and testing company serving the aerospace sector. With extensive experience in lightweight composite structures, we develop innovative solutions that improve aircraft performance, efficiency, and sustainability.

Within the iLCA4SSbD project, ÉireComposites will apply Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) principles, including the iLCA Level 4 framework, to an existing composite blocker door used in aviation applications. The aim is to assess and enhance the product’s sustainability performance throughout its lifecycle while maintaining the high safety, quality, and certification standards required by the aerospace industry.

By integrating SSbD approaches into an established aerospace component, ÉireComposites will contribute practical industrial insights, demonstrate real-world implementation of the methodology, and support the development of more sustainable advanced composite solutions for the aviation sector.
